We are a missionary family living in Ireland. Our children
are adopted from the USA, Cambodia, South Africa, and Ghana. We are waiting to
bring home another from Ghana. All proceeds from Historical
Fiction Unit Studies go toward funding this adoption. Barbara's job is
to write the unit studies, the children are the testers for them, and
Tim's chief role in this enterprise is prayer and encouragement!
Barbara has a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from
the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.A. in English from
California State University, Northridge. She taught writing, research
and literature at The Master's College and at California State
University, Northridge for several years before "retiring" and taking a
much better job--that of a homemaker and homeschooling mom! She is the
